And he does it again

I think I now have proof that Luxor will never learn. Today I came home to a half eaten piece of Styrofoam. I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't have been able to eat it whole, so it must be in pieces - I just hope he doesn't get a blockage.

Luxor's ALMOST trip to the vet

I don't understand WHY Luxor insists on eating anything and everything that can fit in his mouth. He has a long history of eating stuff that doesn't belong in cats' tummies. Well, because of that I religiously check and double check the floors, etc. for small things that Luxor may find tasty.

On Christmas he ate about a 1.5" long piece of green plastic and threw it up. I have absolutely NO idea where he got it. I looked all around and couldn't find anything that matched it. I am very glad he was able to get it up but that really couldn't have been tasty.

Well the day after Christmas, he ate a 2" piece of ribbon. When will this cat LEARN!!!! He felt awful all day. Obviously if I had caught him doing this I would have taken the ribbon away. We were getting ready to sit down to dinner and Luxor started to 'projectile' vomit. LOVELY!

It was completely disgusting and smelled awful. But he felt better afterward. I was just about to take him to the emergency vet when he started to act a little better, drink water and talk to me. We decided to talk to his vet in the morning. I'm glad we waited. We called them, got some hairball lubricant to help him pass anything he had left and came home - we didn't bring him in. Which he would have despised.

He's doing a lot better tonight. I think he's going to be ok. Now, I have no idea if he learned a lesson or not. I wish cats could talk....

Merry Christmas Eve!

The past month and a half have been extremely busy! The shop's inventory has really dwindled and I have to get crackin' to make more. The cats have been too funny and I've had 6 concerts with about 8 dress rehearsals for them. PHEW!

I'm definitely tired and I think I've earned a vacation!

And all of this for the want of a Tea.

Soooo, I woke up early today to get a lot of work done at school. As I was driving to school I commented on how heavy traffic was. I got of the turnpike and in a split second I chose between getting my morning tea at Dunkin' Donuts or Irving (Blue Canoe). I chose DD.

I pull in to the drive in thinking "wow, it's really busy today." But was ok waiting in line because I had time, it was only 6:41. It took forever to get through the drive through. I finally ordered my regular order: "medium regular tea black please" and they repeat "medium regular HOT tea black". I drive up and they try to give me two cappuccinos, "4.96 please". I said, "Oh no, I ordered a medium regular tea black, 1.81".

They didn't even have it prepared, so I waited, didn't take too long. I got my tea and went to work. I get to work and take the lid off to get rid of the tea bag ( I hate strong tea). My tea had CREAM in it!!!!!

I had time, so I went back to DD and went INSIDE this time. I asked the lady behind the counter to please correct the drive through's mistake: I ordered a "medium regular tea, black - NO cream".

She apologized and then got me tea. I pulled the little tabby up and it was black so I left.

I got to school and opened it up to take the tea bag out.......IT WAS COFFEE, BLACK.

Oh my gosh!!! It's about 7:15 now and I am bound and determined to get my tea. I drive back THROUGH construction to get to a really busy DD.........

I asked to speak with the manager on duty. I (as politely as I could) asked "I've been here three times in the past hour, could I please have a medium regular tea, black. It's been wrong twice. And I need a refund."

I got my tea and I got my refund. But I had to go back through construction to get to school AND I ended up behind the buses.

So in summary, I didn't finally get to school until 7:50... School started at 8am.

I am not sure if I want to go back there again.

The Perfect Pet Feeder

This automatic pet feeder is extremely high end. It looks to be top quality. I had one automatic feeder, but Stoli figured out how to stick his paw up the slot and fish for his food. No wonder he was never hungry.....

Here's a photo of some satisfied customers:

Here's a quick story about how the Perfect Pet Feeder was born.

update!!!

Hi folks,

It's been a busy week here. Loads of auditions for our musical. Wrote a grant for a sound system. Gave about a million assessments. Sold some items. Over all a very busy week.

I received the last two Stephenie Meyers books and am reading the Bourne Identity. I also have Chamber of Secrets going too. The book of Bourne is really much more interesting than the movie. There is a lot of back story that is never touched in the movie plot.

I have a cold - being run down from a nasty schedule. But on the up and up - I got some Christmas presents for my family today. Yea!

Will let you know about any thing new....
