My first doily!
It's not great, but it's a first! I LOVE doilies, after I make my babette blanket I think I'm going to concentrate on doilies. There's something about the vintage books I have of my grandmother's. They are so delicate and intricate!

I'm impressed! We have a lot of these in my family (my great-grandmother made literally hundreds of them), and I know how intricate they are.
What a beautiful doilie. Years ago I made them too. The work is just too small now....I lean more toward afgans etc. That is when Madi will 'let' me. She loves to play with the yarn even though I have a special yarn container she'll knock that over trying to get to it. Madi and I are new to blogging we'ev been online for 3 weeks. Lots to learn.
