No.......

I drew a bunch of sketches of this pose first, then narrowed the sketches down to the ones with correct proportions, the hard part was getting the correct proportions in the actual clay.

Well I'm happy to say this little guy is finished and ready to make a home with you!

MOO stinks

We've got printing issues at MOO in the UK.

If you haven't heard about MOO, where have you been lately?

MOO is a company that creates cards, stickers, etc. with photos of your choosing. You can have many many photos in a batch - you don't need to order 100 of one picture.

I order from them in December and the product was GREAT.

I just placed another order with them and I'm disgusted. I got minicards that were misaligned and stickers that were not light enough.

The minicards were from a pre-existing template with no option to change alignment and the stickers, well, I didn't do anything any differently with this batch except order them with a synchronization with Etsy instead of Flickr.

I contacted the company and was basically told it was my fault. Now if I wasn't at all computer savvy or had no idea how to photography I would accept that. But I'm neither of those things so that leads me to believe that it is their fault. I'll let you know if I get anywhere with them. I may post a sample photograph showing the difference in colors too.

Pillars of the Earth

Yes, I know I've been living with my head in the sand because Ken Follet has been around awhile and I just discovered him.

I finished Code to Zero in a couple of days and now I'm on Pillars of the Earth. I've only finished the prologue and the first chapter..but it's amazing. Amazing writing and it's amazing to see how the author brings medieval times to life!

Da Bird is a Disaster!

Oh my Oh my Oh my,

Stoli has always been extremely possessive of his special toys - mice, feathers. Well on a suggestion, I purchased Da Bird and a refill. Yesterday was his first time playing with it and it was a scene. I had a hard time getting it away from him but it wasn't abnormal. Well today I didn't get it away from him. I finally had to let it go and he ran away upstairs with it. Hissing, growling all the normal but just much more of it.

I followed him and finally was making headway on getting Da Bird out of his mouth when the thing snapped off. Yup. I was left holding the string and wand and he had the feathers.

So, I started down stairs and fed Luxor dinner. Stoli came down but didn't want to give up his bird. I fed him on the floor and when he was occupied I stole da bird. I don't really know if I want to get it out again after that encounter.
