phew

I've started crocheting, just yesterday. I got the idea from Mitsy (ArtMind) when I was looking for something else to do to pass the time, and I wanted to make cat toys~!!

I like crocheting more than knitting. I'm still looking for easy fun NOT boring patterns. But I started with a granny square. Not a great photo because I'm not at home with my own camera....but you can see it actually looks like an object and not a knot!

Hey, great start!
Now go make 129 more! :~)

My favorite afghan in the world was crocheted for me out of granny squares. I was probably 12 when it was made? .and I got to pick out my own colors!

That's the only thing I know how to crochet! They are really easy - I can do them while watching TV, etc., and I have made several afghans. If you change the yarn color between rounds, you can make the center look like a flower.

I admire your efforts and patience with sewing/knitting/crocheting... I'm too impatient for that stuff! Good job, though!

Kinda ironic I say that when my projects consist of piecing together tiny shards of glass. Ha!

There are heaps of free and fun projects on Ravelry.com & LionBrand has loads of them too! I'd love to see your crochet process coming along! :)
