AH, Trek!
I went to see Star Trek last night. And I'm so happy I did. It was excellent!!!! The characters are really spot on, although I wasn't really into Chekhov. Kirk and Spock were excellent. The music was pretty decent and it was a treat to hear the original theme at the end of the movie.
I enjoyed Urban as "Bones" and Sulu was pretty good. It was weird to see Uhura and Spock. . . . leave it at that.

I haven't seen star trek yet, but want ot when it comes out. Simon Pegg that plays 'Scottie' (I think), is fab!

We're seeing it next weekend. Can't wait!
This would've been a great Mother's Day outing if my mom were still alive... she was such a Trekkie (for the original series), and had a mad crush on Cap J T Kirk! hehe.
(whom...I've met the real Shatner at a restaurant I used to work at! ---that would've made my mom pee her pants!)

Mommy Saw that today and really liked it too.
Heading to see it this week-end. Really looking forward to it. Loved the TV series but was never a Star Trek freak.
