Spy Master

I've been hooked on Spy Master for about a week now. Maybe it was two, but who's counting. You may have heard spammy things about this game but as long as you don't mark the options to 'tweet your progress' it's not so bad. If you like low key role playing games, then you may want to try this. You have to be 'invited' from twitter - you can let me know if you want an invite.....

Here's what you do...you click buttons and you walk away. Yup there's no sitting in front of your screen and actually video gaming. I leave SpyMaster up all day and just click on tasks or assassinations when I have a free millisecond. You build up money and experience to level up. At first it seems to take forever, but then it goes by really fast. You actually do better when you use your twitter account and not one you made just for this game.

Some people have found ways to run javascripts to exploit the game and build followers and run tasks automatically, but that takes the fun out of it..... I chose to be a part of the Russian intellegence since Stoli's a Russian Blue. Here's a screenshot sorry for the blurriness:

Drum Roll PLEEEEEEZE

This was really fun. I received great feedback about which work was liked and why. I copied all the comments into a word file, saved all my facebook followers, all my blog followers and newsletter receivers, as well as all the blog posts and the retweets. I gave each entry a number in large font so I could read it when the document was minimized, counted up the entries then went to Random dot org to draw the winner. Now remember if you are the winner - I'll contact you and you have to reply back within the weekend so I know you still want your kitty sculpture! I need to know what to paint it! (well, eventually - the clay has to dry and be bisqued)

And the winner is:

Number 44 was NeeNee: NeeNee, June 7, 2009 7:09 PM
I signed up as a follower. I like the porcelain kitties the best. I have four feline babies and it would really be difficult to pick one to be made into a figurine. Probably Taji, she has lynx point markings and aqua eyes. She was a feral kitten my husband brought home from work.

I was so EXCITED to draw the winner today, since I'll be sculpting the kitty this weekend, I decided I was in a REALLY good mood so I'm going to draw a SECOND WINNER:

Number 35 is Michele Bingham from Sweet Irie! Sweet Irie, May 24, 2009 4:55 PM
Hi ya sweetums! You know I LOVE everything you make, the porcelain statues are wonderful, but a little out of my price range...but that is me...they are worth the every penny! :)

I hope everyone had fun playing the giveaway - I'll do another one nearer the end of the summer when I have LOADS of new stuff to give away!

Congratulations to the winners - I'll wait a bit to see if you can discover this for yourself before I email you...........

So we got the stroller, and Stoli loves it......Luxor is still scared of it. It's so well made and we're glad we got it. It's the AT3 All Terrain Pet Stroller. We learned about it from Daisy the Curly Cat, she and Harley take turns in their stroller

One More Week to Enter the GIVEAWAY

The porcelain kitty giveaway ends this Friday, June 19th at 11:50pm ET and the winner will be drawn in the morning of the 20th. I can hardly wait to find out the winner! I've been diligently keeping track of tweets - blog posts (not many there!) - comments and newsletter entries.

I hope you have been checking back from time to time to see how the giveaway is going, the response has been great. Let's give one more push for the next couple of days, tell your friends to come and comment and to mention you - you'll get another entry. See if you can get 'Retweeted' on twitter. Are you SURE you signed up for the newsletter? There are a few followers that haven't comments yet - don't miss your chance!

Even if you don't feel the need to own a beautiful porcelain kitty, you could give it to a friend~!

Get the word out there - the more people who know, the more people will learn about the shop and if they decide to purchase, it goes to help kitties!

Lilacs!

Lilacs are my favorite flowering bush! Magnolias are my favorite tree. I don't have a Magnolia so I spoil my lilacs! Last spring I got this Korean Dwarf Lilac (I think I remembered that correctly) and it was beautiful. The smell permeated all through the condo and the walkway. I did research on how to prune it to get the most flowers the next year. When the seasons changed from fall to winter, my husband and I planted the bush (pot and all) in the ground for the freeze season. This May, we hoisted it out, dusted it off and now look at it! Good as new! Click on the picture and see it close up!

stolen

Someone stole my license plate last night when I was pet sitting. I'm surprised the dog didn't bark. I think it is very 'coincidental' that the neighbors (near not next to) of these people I was pet sitting for have a car with the SAME license plate but in combination.... coincidence that this happened on this street? I think not.
